About Investment Research
As a global leader in knowledge processes, research, and analytics, you’ll be working with a team that specializes in global market research, working with the top-rated investment research organizations, bulge bracket investment banks, and leading asset managers. We cater to 8 of the top 10 global banks, working alongside their product and sector teams, supporting them on deal origination, execution, valuation, and transaction advisory-related projects.
What you will be doing at Evalueserve
·Providingonshore support to sell-side research analysts
·Collectingand analyzing financial data from online sources, such as Bloomberg, as well asoffline sources
·Buildingand maintaining financial models of companies under coverage
·Conductingindustry research and maintaining industry models
·Calculatingcompany valuations by using methods such as DCF, DDM, and EVA, as well as tradingand transaction multiples
·Preparingcompany profiles, earnings notes, quarterly updates, initiation-of-coveragereports, sector reports, newsletters, technology primers, flash notes, andtheme-based reports, among others
·Summarizingearnings conference calls
·Managingad hoc research requests from clients
What we’re looking for:
·About 2to 6 years of experience in equity research, preferably in technology, semiconductor,or tech hardware sectors
·CA or MBA(Finance); CFA would be an added advantage
·Knowledgeof databases, such as Bloomberg and Reuters, and other financial data systems
·Knowledgeof macroeconomic aggregates and regression analysis
·Strongaccounting and finance skills
·Goodanalytical skills
·Proficiencyin MS Office
·Abilityto meet tight deadlines and ensure timely completion of tasks
·Abilityto implement new working styles
·Abilityto identify proactive ways of contributing to the company’s goals and mission
·Excellentcommunication and interpersonal skills
